RRP $25. Good rains in early December broke what had been an un-seasonally dry winter period. The region was blessed by moderate January temperatures which ripened the fruit slowly. Fruit was sourced from a number of our better chardonnay blocks. A combination of new and old French oak was used to finish fermentation and add character.
Nose is balanced by lemon fruits and light oak, the palate is full and has texture associated with lees stirring. A medium bodied chardonnay which will benefit from short term cellaring.
