Awards & Accolades

2014 Lost Block Sauvignon Blanc has not yet won any awards.

  • Jim McMahon (Corkscrew) on Mon, September 15th 2014

Tyrrell’s Lost Block 2014 Savignon Blanc has come up with the goods with grapes sourced from the high-altitude cool climate Orange region. This wine is coloured green straw-yellow with a nose of herbaceous blackcurrant buds with a wiff of tropical notes. The palate is clean and crisp with dry lime, lemon and melon flaviours in abundance. The mouth-watering acidity is firm and gives the wine a tangy, crisp acid finish.

  • James Moffatt (Money Magazine) on Tue, December 17th 2013

Lost Block are budget-priced wines from Tyrrell’s that have been sourced from different parts of Australia and New Zealand. This is a fresh, youthful, fruit-driven style that has lively, ripe, tropical flavours, a juicy succulence in the mid palate and a crisp clean finish.

  • Kerry Skinner (Illawarra Mercury) on Mon, December 9th 2013

The label now has six wines including this drink-now sauvignon blanc from the Adelaide Hills that’s tight and bright with tropical and stonefruit flavours, freshly cut grass characters and a crisp, clean finish.
