2018 Beyond Broke Road Pinot Gris

The grapes were sourced from King Valley, a cool climate high altitude region in Victoria. The fruit was harvested in the very early hours of the morning when the fruit is at its coolest, then the grapes were lightly pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. The wine spent some extended time on yeast lees to gain extra complexity and texture.

Beyond Broke Road Pinot Gris is a classic cool climate style showing lifted citrus notes with a hint of pear and ginger. The palate continues these citrus and pear flavours but has lovely fine grained texture and soft acid finish which is a hallmark of Pinot Gris.
