Overview & Tasting Notes

Highly perfumed, bright, lifted berry aromas with some savoury spice all rounded off by the large format French oak. The palate shows a seamless structure with creamy texture, the fruit and acid are in perfect balance, the oak being a small player with the primary focus on the rich red fruit.

Dark cherry, sweet earth, cinnamon and choc-vanilla oak accent – but as ever, it seems of the earth. Medium bodied, full in the mouth – rolls around with dark fruit and powdery tannin, firm acidity – almond on the finish. Aggressive as a child, but should be a classic with some bottle age. Be patient.
