  1. From the city of Sydney take the Pacific Highway north heading towards Hornsby. This will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
  2. At Wahroonga turn right into expressway 1, heading north towards Newcastle
  3. Travel 98km north on the expressway for approximately one hour
  4. Take the Hunter Valley vineyards turn off to the left, following Highway number 82
  5. Follow the signs to Cessnock for approximately 30 minutes
  6. When you arrive at Cessnock, turn right at the first set of lights onto Vincent Street
  7. Follow Vincent Street until the end and turn left onto Maitland Road and then a quick right into Allandale Road, following the signs to Branxton
  8. Travel along Allandale Road for approximately 5 minutes, you will pass a small airport on your left followed by the Information Centre. Take the next left into Broke Road
  9. Follow Broke Road until you reach a 'T' intersection. Turn left then immediately right onto the continuation of Broke Road
  10. Follow this road for approximately 3kms and Tyrrell’s Winery is on the left
  11. Total driving time from the city of Sydney is approximately 2 hours
